A college graduate in China brought more than 70 marathon medals onto the graduation stage!
When Jin Yanwei, 24, received his diploma from Xi'an Traffic Engineering Institute, he returned carrying a pole loaded with medals from marathons and long-distance races he has completed since 2021.
Jin isn't a professional athlete. He says he started running while at university and has since covered more than 7,800 km (4,850 miles) in training and races, often using prize money and race bonuses to help pay for his studies.
His graduation photo quickly went viral, becoming a celebration of both academic success and years of dedication to running.
