NESSI SPORTSWEAR FULHADHOO MARATHON 2026 – GOT QUESTIONS?

In the next few days, we’ll be sending all participants an email with essential organisational information to help you prepare for the race.

In the meantime, we strongly encourage you to take some time to explore our page and browse through our previous posts.

Most of the questions you may have have already been answered here!

Since the very beginning, we’ve shared plenty of useful information about the race, the island, accommodation, transport, race-day arrangements and much more.

Our previous posts are a valuable source of information, and you’ll find almost everything you need to know before arriving on Fulhadhoo.

IMPORTANT REMINDER TO ALL RUNNERS!

NO VALID TRAVEL HEALTH INSURANCE = NO RACE!

Your safety is our priority!

All participants in the Nessi Sportswear Fulhadhoo Marathon 2026 must have valid travel health insurance covering their participation in the event.

You will be required to show proof of insurance when collecting your race pack.

No insurance, no race pack, no exceptions!

Please make sure your policy is valid for the Maldives and covers marathon running.

We want you to return home with unforgettable memories, a beautiful medal and nothing more serious than sore legs!

ONE SMALL CUP, ONE BIG DIFFERENCE!

At the Nessi Sportswear Fulhadhoo Marathon 2026, we want to leave nothing behind but footprints and wonderful memories!

As you know, waste management is a huge challenge in the Maldives, and we want to minimise our environmental impact on beautiful Fulhadhoo.

That’s why we’re asking for your help!

Please bring your own reusable drinking cup!

For you, it’s just one small cup to pack. For Fulhadhoo, it means hundreds fewer disposable cups ending up as waste.

It’s such a simple gesture, but together we can make a real difference.

Let’s show that marathon runners care not only about the miles they cover, but also about the places they visit.

We are looking for two people who would like to join us as volunteers during the marathon on 8 November 2026.

To enter, simply like this post and leave a comment telling us why you would like to be part of our team.
You can also tag someone who might be interested.

We’ll choose two people to join the volunteer team, and each winner will receive a Nessi Sportswear T-shirt.

You don’t need to be an experienced runner or have volunteered at a marathon before. We’re simply looking for friendly, positive people who would enjoy being part of the event and helping us create a great experience for everyone.

Sweat? We’ve got you covered!

Our title sponsor, Nessi Sportswear, is making sure you stay comfortable while taking on the Nessi Sportswear Fulhadhoo Marathon 2026!

Every participant will find a Nessi Sportswear sweatband in their race pack. So when the Maldivian heat kicks in and the kilometres start adding up, you can simply wipe the sweat from your forehead and keep chasing that finish line!

DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH CAN HAPPEN IN 42 DAYS?

In 42 days you can

1. build a prefabricated house.

2. plant radishes and eat them.

3. walk the entire Camino de Santiago.

4. cross the Atlantic Ocean.

5. cycle from London to Istanbul.

6. read 10–15 books.

7. learn enough of a new language to survive your first conversation.

8. complete a Couch to 5K programme.

9. travel through a dozen countries.

10. grow about 1.5 cm of beard.

11. travel all the way around the world and still have time to unpack.

12. meet someone who changes your life.

You can achieve a lot in 42 days. And for us, 42 is an especially important number. Because today there are exactly 42 DAYS TO GO.

And at the end of those 42 days, some of us will have another 42.2 kilometres to go.
