Conic Sports, born in 2003, is engaged in the promotion of sports in Mauritius, through its current director, Nicolas Constantin, a staunch devotee of inline skating, who has contributed significantly to the democratization of skating as a multidiscipline sport and also as a recreational activity since 2000. His involvement in the development of Roller allowed through training, events, competition

s and exchanges with foreign countries helped bring a boost in the local landscape and enhancement of sport. Powerslide Brand has been marketed in Mauritius in 2005 following the popularity of the discipline Race after the first exchanges with our friends Skaters Reunion in 2003.

10 years after the founding of Conic Sports in 2013 Powerslide more than ever want to assert their identity and even his passion for skating putting more good energy to the realization of the dreams of local skaters. On 06 August team POWERSLIDE/MATTER international was racing in Deventer for the 1st KPM marathon race which was also the 1st race of this special season.
Our team was represented by Felix Rijhnen, Bart Swings, Jason Suttels and Jan Martin Mende, all 4 racing on 125mm Matter.
43 skaters of top level come to this race organised by KNSB. The course was made on a flat asphalt lap of 1,1km with 37 laps.

From the start Bart Swings, using his amazing aero skinsuit from BIORACER give as usually a strong tempo to test the pack. For 20min,
he tried many time to breakaway with Félix Rijhnen using a 3X125mm set up and the ### frame 13".
The pack was still too strong and some other team like JUMBO took care that nobody get away.

After 20km, anyway, a group of 6 skaters took a gap of 20 secondes on the pack. Félix and Bart were in it and kept attacking to reduce the group to 3 skaters as Ariens Crispijn could still follow.
After an amazing work of Félix, finally it was a duo sprint between Bart and Ariens.
MATTER wheels showed once again they are leading the marathon seems by far with the various 125mm wheels model.

Bart Swings got his 1st victory of the season.

3rd: Félix Rijhnen (PS_MATTER)
