Dodo Trail The Dodo Trail is an international trail run on the beautiful island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. Ask anyone who has run it before – it is unforgettable.

It is a mountain race that passes over the highest, most spectacular peaks and private lands of the south west of Mauritius. Dodo is a trail full of natural wonders and inevitable adventure as you enjoy a unique occasion to run through stunning landscapes with breathtaking views of the turquoise lagoon as well as the tropical forests of the Black River Gorge National Park. ctacular trail goes through the highest peak of Mauritius: Black River peak at 828m. We propose 4 different tracks in order to encourage professional athletes but also beginners and children to take part of this great event:

🔴 XTREME 50KM

• Maximum Altitude: 828m
• Elevation: 3,500m
• Start : Le Morne
• Finish : Riverland

🟢 TROOPER 25KM

• Maximum Altitude: 650m
• Elevation: 1,500m
• Startt : Black River Gorges parking
• Finish : Riverland

🔵 VENTURE 10KM

• Maximum Altitude: 325m
• Elevation: 500m+
• Start : Walinzi, Yémen Maingard
• Finish : Riverland

🟡 ROOKIE 5KM

• Maximum Altitude: 50m
• Start : Walinzi, Yémen Maingard
• Finish : Riverland

This year, we welcomed over 3000 participants for Dodo Trail. With the help of our volunteers, we raised the bar, crossed a few milestones, and made the Dodo Trail one of the most iconic trails in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean.
