🚌 FIRST TRAINING DONE FOR THE TOUR — MAURITIUS 🇲🇺

The first training journey for our Tour Mauritius by Public Transport Bus is officially done! 🎒🚌

This is more than just a trip — it’s a chance to discover Mauritius differently, experience the island through public transport, meet new people, and create memories along the way.

📍 START & END: Pointe aux Piments
⏰ Departure: 7:20 AM
⏰ Return: 6:20 PM
🚌 Total: 7 buses throughout the journey

💰 BUS FARES • Minimum adult bus fare: Rs41
• Maximum fare: Rs47
• Average bus-ticket budget: up to Rs350

🎟️ EVENT FEE: Rs2,000 per person

⚠️ Please note: The event fee does not include food or drinks. I highly recommend everyone pack enough food and drinks for the journey.

🌴 We may have approximately one hour of break in the southern area to refresh, relax and stretch our bodies before continuing the adventure.

🏠 Coming from far away?
If you live far from Pointe aux Piments, which is our starting point, you may come one day earlier and spend the night at The Adventure Club house.

🚨 LIMITED PARTICIPATION — FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED!

This is going to be a very interesting and unique journey. There will also be an emergency escape plan for anyone who needs to leave the tour before completion.

🚨 Official Statement from Adventure Club

Today's Pieter Both Climb has been cancelled.

Being a hiking guide is a position of responsibility, trust, and safety. Guiding a group through challenging terrain requires cooperation, discipline, and mutual respect from every participant.

Unfortunately, during today's activity, we observed behaviour that did not meet the standards of Adventure Club. This included attempts to seek attention, promote personal interests during the event, disrespectful conduct towards our guide, and actions that disrupted the organization of the climb.

In addition, our pre-installed ladder, which had been placed in preparation for the climb, was found to be missing before the activity. At this time, we do not know what happened to it. Whether it was removed, stolen, or disposed of by someone is currently unknown. Its disappearance made it impossible for us to guarantee the safety of the climb.

For these reasons, we made the difficult decision to cancel the trip.

Adventure Club welcomes participants who:

✅ Follow safety instructions.
✅ Support teamwork instead of personal promotion.
✅ Respect equipment, nature, and the work that goes into organizing every activity.
✅ Treat everyone with courtesy and good manners.

Safety will always be our highest priority. We appreciate the understanding and support of those who share our values, and we look forward to welcoming responsible participants on future adventures.
