Beachcomber World Club 10s Rugby The Beachcomber World Club 10s in Mauritius (June 15-17th, 2018) is an 8-team, 10-a-side rugby event featuring Super Rugby, European and invitational teams

The World Club 10s is an eight-team, 10-a-side rugby invitational featuring both Super Rugby franchises and leading European clubs. The second World Club 10s will be held in Mauritius (Anjalay Stadium) from June 18-19, 2016. The Cell C Sharks (South Africa) and three-time European champions RC Toulon (France) were the first two teams announced. The inaugural World Club 10s was held in Singapore in

June 2014 and was the first major sports event to be held in the newly opened 55,000-capacity National Stadium at the Singapore Sports Hub. Captained by 2011 World Cup winner Piri Weepu, the Blues (New Zealand) beat the Brumbies (Australia), another Super Rugby franchise, 10-5 after extra-time to win the final. Other teams came from France, England, Wales, Italy, Samoa and Asia-Pacific.
