📢 OPEN AFRICA 2026 – 7th Edition | Official Weigh-In & Gi / No-Gi Outfit Check

🗓 Date: 7 August 2026
📍 Venue: Main Hall, Cote D'Or Sports Complex
🕙 Time: 10:00 – 17:30

All athletes must attend the official weigh-in within the scheduled time.

🥋 Gi / No-Gi Outfit Check

- Gi competitors: Weigh in wearing your competition Gi.
- No-Gi competitors: Weigh in wearing your approved No-Gi attire.
- Competing in both? Please bring both your Gi and No-Gi competition outfits for inspection.

⚠️ All Gi and No-Gi uniforms must comply with the SJJIF competition rules. Non-compliant uniforms may not be approved for competition.

⚠️ Weight Policy
Athletes who exceed the weight limit of their registered division must either:
• Reduce the excess weight before the weigh-in closes, or
• Pay the applicable penalty fee and move to the next available weight division (subject to availability).

👕 Need competition gear?
Official Gi, No-Gi competition outfits, and MBJJF Gym Sacks will be available for purchase on-site at special event prices.

Please be advised that the National Anti-Doping Organisation (NADO) will conduct anti-doping testing during the tournament in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code.

All athletes are responsible for ensuring that any medications or supplements they use comply with the applicable anti-doping regulations. Please familiarize yourself with the anti-doping rules and cooperate fully with the doping control process.
