We’re excited to have kyle_barbara_ join us as a guest coach for GGSummer 2026! 🙌 Kyle is a fresh graduate after completing his BSc in Sports and Physical Activity at the University of Malta, and GGSummer will be the perfect opportunity for him to put theory into practice on the field! 🎓💪

At Gozo Goalkeepers School, our mission goes beyond training and developing young goalkeepers — we’re also passionate about inspiring and supporting the next generation of coaches. By giving upcoming professionals like Kyle hands-on experience, we aim to contribute to a stronger future for the sport on and off the pitch. 🧠⚽🔥

🧤⚽ Introducing Our Guest Coach for GG SUMMER '26 ⚽🧤

We are delighted to welcome Mark Spiteri, Goalkeeper Coach with Melbourne Victory NPLW, as a special guest coach at GGSUMMER '26.

Mark will be joining our young goalkeepers for two exclusive training sessions, where he will share his experience, knowledge, and coaching methods developed at one of Australia's leading football environments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our goalkeepers to learn from a coach working at a high-performance level and gain insights into what it takes to succeed in the modern game.

APOLOGIES FOR THE LONG POST!

After a lot of thought and reflection, I’ve decided to step down as goalkeeper coach at S.K. Victoria Wanderers and take a break from senior football.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one for my well-being and my family, who always come first. Sometimes stepping back is necessary to come back stronger.

This isn’t goodbye — just “see you again.” Football has given me so much, and I’m sure our paths will cross again.

A sincere thank you to all the clubs, coaches, and especially the goalkeepers I’ve had the privilege to work with. Watching your growth has meant a lot to me. Special thanks to SK Victoria Wanderers for the last three seasons — for the trust, the support, and for being such a great family from day one.

To every goalkeeper I’ve worked with: thank you. Every session, match, and conversation has helped me grow, both on and off the pitch.

Wishing everyone continued health and success.

Gozo Goalkeepers School remains active and open for new opportunities and continued training.
