Yet another successful weekend! 🥳🏆 We still can’t believe how far we’ve come despite all the obstacles that came our way.
With our second competition also behind us, we would like to say a huge well done to our 12 gymnasts who took part in the Fidda Cup, an international competition organised by Chun Gymnastics.
The girls achieved great scores across all three apparatus and demonstrated excellent technique while proudly representing Gozo Gymnastics Academy and the island of Gozo.
It was so heartwarming to see a community of gymnasts sharing the sport they love and cheering each other on, no matter where they come from.
We are incredibly proud of our gozitan gymnasts and their fantastic results:

• Ella Grade – 2nd Overall, 2nd on Floor
• Emily Quinn – 4th on Floor
• Maria – 5th on Floor
• Martina – 3rd Overall, 2nd on Floor
🏅 Silver Competition (LA3 Basic)
• Francesca - 1st Overall, 1st on Floor, 1st on Vault , 2nd on Balance Beam
• Amelia Kate - 2nd Overall, 1st on Vault, 1st on Balance Beam, 3rd on Floor
• Elodie - 3rd Overall, 2nd on Balance Beam and on Floor
• Elona - 1st on Vault
🏅 Silver Competition (LB3 Advanced)
• Emma – 2nd Overall, 1st on Balance Beam, 1st on Floor and 3rd on Vault
• Kate – 3rd on Balance Beam, 3rd on Floor
• Martha Farrugia and Yana Gatt – both 1st Overall in their categories
A big well done also goes to all their coaches who have prepared them for competition and those coaches who have been there to support them since the very beginning of their gymnastics journey Emily Saliba, Sarah Clare, Claudia Demicoli, Matthias Camilleri, Mariah Camilleri.
