430 hours. Two seasons. One diploma.

The third edition of the UEFA Pro Diploma Course reached its conclusion on Monday evening, as 16 coaches received their certificates at the National Football Centre in Ta' Qali, completing UEFA's highest coaching qualification.

The Malta FA and the Malta Football Players Association have signed a new three-year agreement covering the Malta Women's Senior National Team bringing meaningful improvements in medical support, player welfare, remuneration, safeguarding, and performance standards.

Signed by General Secretaries Dr Maria Azzopardi and Carlo Mamo, this agreement reflects exactly what sustained investment in women's football looks like.

Mġarr United have been drawn into Group 5 of the UEFA Women's Champions League First Qualifying Round, where they'll face Estonia's Tallinna FC Flora in the Semi-Finals on 22nd July.

Win that, and a place in the Final against Spartak Myjava of Slovakia awaits on 25th July.

Progress further and they'll enter the Second Qualifying Round in Group 6 alongside KF Vllaznia, Apollon Ladies, and the Group 4 winners.

A delegation of senior MFA officials led by Association President Bjorn Vassallo met with the newly appointed Minister for Education and Sport, Hon. Byron Camilleri in Floriana.

The meeting comes as a first following the takeover of the Sports Ministry by Hon. Camilleri and included discussions on various objectives and projects being implemented and proposed by the Malta FA.

The Malta FA is confident that, under Hon. Camilleri’s tutelage, sport in Malta will benefit from renewed investment and growth.

Wednesday's draws mapped out the next chapter for Maltese football in Europe.

Valletta FC enter the UEFA Conference League Second Qualifying Round against Poland's Raków Częstochowa.

On the Champions League path, the winner of Floriana vs Shamrock Rovers meets the winner of FC Ararat-Armenia vs Riga FC. Progress past the first round and Marsaxlokk face Debreceni VSC, while Hamrun Spartans take on FC Koper if both come through.

Here's what awaits the clubs if they progress:

Applications are now open for the new SportArti scheme, launched by the Malta FA in collaboration with Arts Council Malta.

The initiative aims to integrate arts and culture within football nursery environments across Malta and Gozo through projects developed in partnership with creative practitioners.

Eligible YFA and GYFA football nurseries, as well as Malta FA-affiliated clubs catering for children aged 5 to 12, may apply for grants of up to €5,000 per project.
