In the afternoon of 21 March there will be a Service Rifle Competition for ex-service rifles at 100 yards on paper targets. A course of fire will be available in due course; the event will be split into 2 categories, either pre-1960 service bolt-action rifles with open iron sights, no optical sights, or diopters; or pre-1980 semi-automatic service rifles, with iron sights, again no optical sights or diopters.
On the morning of 22 March, there will be the Precision Marksmanship Competition between a mix of civilian and AFM competitors shooting both paper and steel targets from 400 yards and 500 yards.
We will need volunteers to be marshals and to assist with range safety, so if you are able to help, please indicate to the organisers asap.
Registration for all the different categories on these 4 days will open on the 23rd of February. In the meantime, please email [email protected] to register your pre-registration interest or call 99479889 or 79447234.
