TriGozo is an affiliated club of the Malta Triathlon Federation and is working towards promoting triathlon in Malta and Gozo, in collaboration with other clubs in Malta and the Malta Triathlon Federation. Triathlon in Gozo is on the increase and our club promotes sports in general and develops in the participants a strong physical and mental foundation for other athletic endeavours and a lifetime of general fitness. TriGozo aims to introduce competitive multisport events in Gozo that create a positive experience for all athletes involved. It also aims to look in perspective and find ways to cater for the needs of its athletes to train in a safe and appropriate environment and follow good practices in sport. Our commitment is to facilitate athletes in Gozo and work hard to provide them with new opportunities in Gozo, that is, enhance their knowledge through this sport and teach this discipline to young individuals; triathlon, being a new sport on the island of Gozo.

🔱 FROM MALTA TO WARSAW — IRON MADE 🔱

At just 19 years old, TriGozo triathlete Michael Magrin has done something extraordinary. Today, 7th June 2026, he crossed the finish line of the Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw, Poland 🇵🇱 — and he did it in style.

5 hours, 38 minutes and 45 seconds.
1.9km swim. 90km bike. 21.1km run. All of it. Done. ✅

🏅 83rd in his age group (M18-24) out of 150
🏅 995th by gender out of 1,676
🏅 1,152nd overall out of 2,068 finishers

A swim split of 36:20, a bike leg of 2:59:09, and a run of 1:52:56 — not bad for someone who isn't even old enough to have a decade of adult life behind him. 💪

Michael tackled one of Europe's most celebrated half-iron distance races with the focus of a veteran and the fire 🔥🔥 of a young athlete who is only just getting started. The roads of Warsaw saw something special today.

Huge congratulations to Michael Magrin for an great showing at last Sunday’s Malta Triathlon Federation National Middle-Distance Championships! 🇲🇹

​Representing TriGozo, Michael, who is relatively new to Triathlon pushed through to secure a solid 26th place overall with a blistering total time of 3:56:14., coming 2nd🥈 U23M

​Swim: 28:37 (Coming out of the water in a strong 18th!)
​Bike: 2:04:52
​Run: 1:18:42

​Competing in the Under 23 category, Michael proved that hard work and dedication pay off on the big stage. The future looks bright for this young athlete! 🌟
