Our young sailor Jean Pierre was joined yesterday at Qbajjar by German sailor Kilian Stauß, training together on the ICLA 6. Kilian, a competitive sailor from the Munich area, represents Verein Seglerheim am Chiemsee and is a regular visitor to Gozo. We were also joined by our club’s Vice President, Noel Grech, who highlighted the value of such exchanges in enriching the local sailing community and inspiring future initiatives. ⛵️

Looking ahead, we’ll be present at the opening of the new Aquatic Centre on 10th September—a great opportunity to promote both our club and the sport of sailing. Our goal is to welcome more members into our community, and to make this possible we look forward to continued support in upgrading the Qbajjar slipway. This improvement would make boat launching safer and more accessible for everyone, helping the sport grow sustainably here in Gozo. ⚓️
