If you want to keep getting stronger, the challenge needs to progress over time.
Thatβs progressive overload.
It might mean lifting a little more weight.
Doing another rep.
Adding a set.
Improving your range of motion.
Using better control and technique.
You donβt have to increase something every single workout β and progress wonβt always happen every week.
But over time, your training needs to keep challenging you.
Your muscles adapt to the work you give them. Once that work becomes comfortable, gradually give them a reason to adapt again.
