Beach week has started this week!! Its very important that kids of all ages are expose to the sea as much as swimming in a pool!

Don’t assume that if you see them confident in the pool they will be the same in the sea. Water has many elements especially in open water.
We are blessed that we are on an island surrounded by sea so take this opportunity to enjoy beach days together. ☀️🌊⛱️🏖️

Star float can save your life at any age and any circumstance ⭐️

With Met Office amber warnings for extreme heat in place for the coming days, it's vital you and your family know how to stay safe in, on, and around water.

If you fall into water or become tired — stay calm and float. 💧

Float to Live:
• Tilt your head back and keep your ears in the water
• Relax and focus on controlling your breathing
• Spread your arms and legs to stay stable
• Gently move your hands if needed
• Once calm, signal for help or swim to safety

If you see someone else in trouble, throw them something that floats.
