Our national team takes to the court this week in the Davis Cup Europe Group IV, competing in a round-robin format against the other nations in the group as they battle for promotion.

A couple of pictures that make us incredibly proud! Our young guns Chris Farrugia and Edward shone brightly in France, accompanied solely by their coach Dev Fazal.

๐Ÿ† ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ ๐…๐š๐ซ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ ๐ข๐š โ€“ playing up in the Under 11 category, Chris fought all the way to the semi-finals and secured a fantastic 3rd place overall. An outstanding performance in an older age group!

๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐„๐๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ โ€“ still only 9 years old, Ed powered through to the quarter-finals of the Under 10 event, showing huge promise and heart.

Adding to the success, coach ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ ๐…๐š๐ณ๐š๐ฅ was honoured with the ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐‚๐จ๐š๐œ๐ก ๐…๐š๐ข๐ซ ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ โ€“ a true reflection of the values we hold at Asciak Tennis Academy.

These two, at such a young age, travelled only with Dev and delivered outstanding results. We couldnโ€™t be prouder of their discipline, fighting spirit and maturity on and off the court.

Hoping to keep building on this momentum with all our young talent. The future is bright! ๐Ÿ’ซ
