We were at Science in the City Malta 2025!

Science in the City is Malta’s national science and arts festival held every September in Valletta. It brings together scientists, artists, and the community for fun and engaging activities, hands-on experiments, and live performances—all showcasing the best of science and creativity in Malta.

Some of you may have noticed the DIVE setup poolside during the COOP Services 32nd Easter International Meet 2025 🏊‍♂️📹 organised and hosted by Aquatic Sports Association of Malta. Our research team is working on ways to use AI to analyse swimmer movement — stroke symmetry, alignment, turn performance, and more. It's still early days, and we’re deep in the research phase, but it was encouraging to see so much interest from coaches and swimmers.

Back from the Meet with plenty to reflect on! These conversations reminded us just how valuable this could become, especially for younger athletes learning to understand their own stroke. Thanks to everyone who came over to chat and to the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta for the opportunity 🙏.
