A DIFFICULT GOODBYE
After almost six years we have some incredibly difficult news to share.
KYX GYM will be closing its doors for good on Monday, 31st August 2026.
This is not how we ever imagined our journey would end, and making this decision has been one of the hardest things we have ever had to do.
For almost six years, KYX has been so much more than four walls and a collection of equipment. It has been a community. A place where people came to get stronger, healthier and more confident. A place where friendships were made, milestones were celebrated, and where so many of you became part of our extended family in Hamrun.
But over the past months, the reality of operating the gym has become increasingly difficult. This past month, the situation with the air-conditioning system has unfortunately been the final straw.
We have listened to your complaints. We have felt your frustration. And we have done everything we could to keep going. But we have reached a point where continuing would no longer be financially or practically sustainable.
So, with a very heavy heart, we have made the decision to close.
We know this news will come as a shock, particularly because the decision has happened in a very very short time.
To all our current members: please don’t worry. We will be communicating with you directly regarding your memberships and any unused membership time. We will honour the appropriate refunds and explain the process clearly.
For now, we simply want to say:

Six years completed.
Six years of memories.
Thousands of workouts.
Countless friendships.
One incredible community.
We may be closing our doors, but what we built together will always mean something to us.
We are truly sorry that this is where our journey ends.
