Insta-Perfect mood?
Hi, how are you? Feeling calm, balanced, graceful, happy? That's great.
Feeling the opposite? Different? Not sure? Confused? That's OK too.
I'm not saying you should "throw in the towel" and sink in bad mood forever, BUT you shouldn't feel like a failure or judge yourself, for feeling bad again either!
It is not true that everyone is dealing better than you, everyone else has already figured life out, or have their sh** perfectly together.
The world on social media if full of smiling faces and uplifting quotes on how to achieve instant happiness, keep on grinding, going, doing, ALWAYS stay calm and graceful. You know it's not real, but it might pressure you anyway.
Feeling happy all the time is impossible, and pressuring yourself to feel anyhow is simply exhausting.
All feelings carry important information and it is OK to feel however you are feeling. When it's hard/uncomfortable offer yourself compassion, kindness, and time for reflection. YOGA SERVES MEETING YOUR TRUE SELF, accepting where you are, nurturing, witnessing.
So how are you really?
In this moment I am tired, a bit anxious, grateful, sad, worried, hopefull and calm at the same time, because I know it is all OK. It's life.
Be however you are, you don't need to be Insta-Perfect neither physically nor emotionally. Be you. Your amazing, authentic, one of a kind self. ✨
