Footy4U Malta was founded in MAR 2010 with the objective of providing extra specialized coaching during summer months for kids of all ability in a fun and safe environment. In NOV 2010, Footy4U Director Andrea Vella traveled to the United Kingdom, where he made a number of contacts with professional academies. It was also in this trip that Footy4U's partnership with coach education company Premier
Skills Limited was formed. Strong relationships with foreign coaches and scouts have resulted in Footy4U being able to promote local talent overseas, and many players who have participated in our programmes have been granted unforgettable trial opportunities at big foreign academies. From JUL 2012, in time for the 2012 Summer Programme, Footy4U introduced specialized goalkeeper training to its schedule, as well as the routine outfield player training. This year also saw a dedicated Winter Programme being implemented, with players having the option between 'One-On-One' and 'Small Groups' training during the season.
