Another contract extension to ensure a solid defence at the back. Andrea Mizzi has agreed terms for his 3rd season as a Gudja United FC player.
Solid at the back, with a strong propulsion forward, Mizzi has become a staple in Coach Anonam's squad.
We look forward to see Mizzi in action again soon!

During last week's AGM, the Gudja United FC committee welcomed a new face among its ranks. Tonio Farrugia will be occupying one of the three most important roles in the Club's administration : that of Treasurer and financial controller, a role which was filled in the past years by Roderick Sghendo, for whom we are truly grateful.
Tonio has a career in finance, and comes from a family of ex-club players, where his dad and a number of his uncles played with our colours in the 60s and early 70s.
We welcome Tonio and we are sure his stint at our club will be a very positive one.

Another season in the Gudja United FC colours for the guy at the back who stops the opponent's attacks : Nicholas Gauci is staying on for another season!
Known for his strenght and fearlessness, Nicky is one of the strongholds at the back of Coach's Anonam defence.

It's time to sustain the administration of the club too, and during this week's AGM, we welcomed on board Russell Farrugia as a new member on the Gudja United FC committee.
Russell is an ever-present supporter as he never misses a match to support our colours.

It's that time of the year when we build our team for the upcoming season. And we start by confirming players whose input proved invaluable and so we can confirm them.
The first announcement is that of Jamie Carbone who had a great season and scored numerous goals in the league and in the cups, winning the nickname of CARBOGOAL!
