With the new season just around the corner, we caught up with Għargħur F.C. Head Coach Alan Friggieri to get his thoughts ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
🔹 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 & 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
“It was a good and intensive pre-season, which allowed us to prepare well both physically and tactically. At this stage, I am satisfied with the progress the team has made and with the way we are building the squad.
Going into the opening matches of the season, we have the majority of our players available, although we still have a few who are recovering from injuries. We hope to have them back with us as soon as possible.”

“Our main objective is to improve on last season’s final league position. We are still in the process of building a new squad with a mix of young players, and our aim is to continue developing them while building a competitive team for the future.”
