Bertu's Gym is one of the oldest gyms on the island, established by Bertu Camilleri a former Maltese Boxing Champion on the 10th of October 1982. Since then the gym has housed numerous athletes of various disciplines including; boxing, kickboxing, martial arts, bodybuilding, weight lifting and athletics to name a few. The premises is divided into three floors:
- On ground floor level on finds a small complete gym which is available exclusively for women. The area is fully air conditioned, contains showers, restrooms, lockers, cardio machines, free weights and other equipment. At certain designated hours one also finds a female instructor to help.

- On the first floor one finds the general gym used by all. It is contains a free weight section, a variety of cable machines, cardio machines and others. On the same floor the gym has a healthy snack bar offering protein bars, shakes, coffee, water and other small nibbles.

- On the second floor there are lockers and showering facilities. One also finds a fitness studio which is used for martial arts and boxing classes. The gym is known for its hospitable and friendly environment - a place to de-stress, workout and make friends. It is equipped with latest Technogym and Precor equipment following a recent refurbishment. For only 4 euros per session it surely is worth a visit!

Bħala parti mill-investiment kontinwu ta' tisħiħ tan-network tad-distribuzzjoni tal-elettriku, ser inkomplu bix-xogħlijiet fil-Għargħur biex jitpoġġew cables ġodda taħt l-art b'rabta maċ-Ċentru tad-Distribuzzjoni l-ġdid tan-Naxxar.

🚧 Arranġamenti temporanji għat-traffiku fil-jiem li ġejjin:

➡️ Triq Santa Katerina se tkun miftuħa f'direzzjoni waħda biss, b'aċċess għat-traffiku minn Tal-Balal lejn Għargħur.

➡️ Fi Triq San Ġwann se jkunu għaddejjin xogħlijiet, u t-triq se tkun miftuħa biss għal vetturi li joħorġu minn Għargħur lejn Triq Murray.

Nappellaw lis-sewwieqa biex isegwu s-sinjali temporanji tat-traffiku, jippjanaw il-vjaġġi tagħhom minn qabel u jsuqu b'attenzjoni fiż-żona.

🚧Works in Għargħur

As part of Enemalta's ongoing investment in strengthening the electricity distribution network, works are underway to install new underground cables in connection with the new Naxxar Distribution Centre.

🚧 Temporary traffic arrangements in the coming days:

➡️ Triq Santa Katerina will be open one way only, with traffic permitted from Tal-Balal towards Għargħur.

➡️ Works on Triq San Ġwann will continue, and the road will remain open only for traffic exiting Għargħur towards Triq Murray.

We kindly ask motorists to follow the temporary traffic signs, plan their journeys accordingly, and drive carefully through the area.
