We would like to thank the Tourism Zones Regeneration Agency for installing 2 new benches at the skatepark! Thank you for your continues effort to help us have a safe and clean space for the community to enjoy ❤️
This is part of a wider maintenance and upgrade initiative by the community members led by the MSA - Malta Skateboarding Association and Malta Street Sports Alliance 👊
So far parents, kids and youths have;
🗑 Cleaned up the skatepark and insured that authorities start with regular cleaning schedules.
🎨 Painted the ramps of the skatepark, whilst C0ok3r did a new mural.
🚯 Installed new signs and surveillance cameras to ensure the security of the park.
🏀 Installed a new basketball hoop donated by a parent with the aim of creating a basketball section next to the park.
This is just the start - we have a long way to go with plans to fix the fencing, fill up holes, fix the ramps, build new ramps and provide skateboards and other equipment for those kids who cannot afford them 🛹
