My name is Dino Citrone, and I have been climbing for over 30 years. Go climb Malta was first conceived whilst visiting family members on the island of Malta, and immediately I saw the potential and opportunities for climbingon the island. Having worked in outdoor activities and instructing rock climbing back in the UK, I had decided to open up the first dedicated rock climbing shop on the island. I have climbed in many places around the world such as France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Alaska. I have climbed TRAD up to E5 and Sport up to 7B+, and bouldering up to V9. My climbing career reached its high point in 1993 with the first ascent of the west face of Sunrise Spire grade (V1, 510, A2) over 10 days in Alaska. To this date it hasn’t had a second ascent. As well as the shop, I will be running day taster rock climbing and abseil courses. I will also be offering skills courses from beginners to intermediate climbers. There are also tailor made courses for individuals who have a passion for rock climbing.
