Good morning all,

I would like to start by saying that I am still here, fighting and getting better everyday. This is all down to the help of so many wonderful and amazing people.

First of all, all my police brothers and sister on the scene and after who helped me in ways that can never be repaid. No matter what training we have received, none of them were prepared for something like that, me included, but they persevered and thanks to them I got to an ambulance alive.

Secondly, I would like to give my greatest thanks and appreciation to all the hospital emergency staff, the ITU staff and all the staff on my current ward as without them I am sure that I would not have made it. I cannot mention names of all these wonderful people because there were so many, I don't want to leave anyone out.

I would also like to thank all the dignitaries that have gone out of their way to help me and my family. These include the police commissioner, the prime minister, the president, the head of the opposition party, judges, magistrates and many others. Thankyou for everything from the bottom of my heart.

I would also like to thank all of you wonderful friends who have wished me well and prayed for me this past week.

Last but not least I would like to thank my wonderful family, for all they have done with me. Most of all my amazing wife and kids. They have always been, are and will always be the reason why I breathe everyday.

One Year Can Change Everything.
