He was inspired to take on this challenge because both his wife and sister-in-law have faced cancer, and he saw firsthand how badly support from organizations like Puttinu Cares is needed.

Drew has been an athlete for many years, and now he's using his dedication to running and challenging himself to make a difference. Throwback to last year when Drew achieved his long-held ambition of helping families in need. Thanks to everyone's support we had raised €16,020 for Puttinu Cares.

Tomorrow Drew will be running 100km in memory of Dr Victor Calvagna, which he hopes to complete in around 8 hours. Anyone wishing to join in or come watch is free to do so between 7:00 AM - 15:00 PM.

This Sunday Drew Lang will be running 100km in aid of Puttinu Cares. Yes, you read that right, ONE HUNDRED KM! That means he'll be running for around 8 hours straight.

Last year Drew achieved his long-held dream of helping families in need by raising 16,000 Euros for Puttinu Cares through his challenge of 30 marathons in 30 days.

Drew loves a good challenge, so he immediately started preparing for another in memory of Dr Victor Calvagna, Puttinu Care's president. A man who he quickly grew to admire in the short time that he knew him.
