🌊🏄‍♂️ LAKE OHRID SUP CROSSING 2026 🇲🇰

Another unforgettable edition 6 of Lake Ohrid SUP Crossing brought together paddlers from across Europe on the crystal-clear waters of the UNESCO World Heritage Lake Ohrid.

We are incredibly proud that our club was once again represented by Teodora Ristova and Slobodan Jovanovski, both achieving remarkable milestones.

⭐ At just 15 years old, Teodora proved that age is just a number. She became the youngest Macedonian female paddler to complete the 23 km Lake Ohrid SUP Crossing on a hardboard, and only the second Macedonian woman ever to finish the crossing—following Rosana, who completed the challenge on an inflatable board in 2024. The future of Macedonian SUP is bright! 💙

🚀 Slobodan didn’t just finish as the fastest Macedonian paddler—he also broke the previous record set by Mirko in 2024, recording the fastest Lake Ohrid SUP Crossing time ever achieved by a Macedonian paddler and raising the bar for future generations.

Every race is more than a competition—it’s about determination, passion, and pushing your limits.

Congratulations to all athletes, organizers, volunteers, and supporters for another outstanding edition of Lake Ohrid SUP Crossing 2026. Thank you for the unforgettable experience, the great competition, and the amazing SUP community spirit. ☺️ 7th Old Town Rowing Parade – Ohrid 🛶🎻

This weekend we had the pleasure of joining one of the most beautiful traditions on Lake Ohrid – the 7th Old Town Rowing Parade “Oj Ljubov, Ljubov”.

More than 100 rowing boats and paddle craft took part, while over 1,300 visitors enjoyed an unforgettable evening filled with traditional Macedonian 🇲🇰 music, beautiful scenery, and an atmosphere that truly celebrated Ohrid’s cultural heritage. ❤️

It was amazing to paddle alongside the ensemble , surrounded by songs echoing across the lake as the sun slowly set behind the old town.

A big congratulations to the organizers .do.12 for creating such a unique event that brings together people from across 🇲🇰 Macedonia and beyond while preserving local tradition and promoting respect for nature and the lake.

🏕️ This weekend we meet great people at Kayak Fest Albania 2026, ||| Edition 🇦🇱 in Zrnovsko, near Pustec, as part of the Prespa region. Although the plan included more water activities, the weather was very windy, so the program was partially adjusted.

🏕 After arrival, we camped and enjoyed an evening of stargazing, which was a truly unique experience far away from city lights.

🌬️ The wind was strong throughout the entire weekend, so some of the activities were cancelled. One of them was the planned tour to Mal Grad island, which we will leave for another time.

🌊 Despite that, we paddled at Slivnica beach, where the conditions were calm and ideal for SUP, so we still managed to enjoy part of the water program.

🍲 During the festival there was also local food prepared on site by the organizers and the local community – a great opportunity to taste authentic Prespa cuisine and support local producers.

🌍 Additionally, the festival included a conference on cross-border cooperation between Macedonia, 🇲🇰 Albania, 🇦🇱 and Greece, 🇬🇷 with ideas for future joint outdoor routes across the entire Prespa region.

Even though things didn’t go exactly as planned, we still had a great adventure, explored part of Prespa, and once again confirmed how special this region is. 💙🏄‍♂️
