Laze Perchevski is playing golf for over 45 years. He plays golf allover the world,professionally and as an amateur.
After 40 years, he came back to Macedonia to bring the game of golf. Laze is founder of the Macedonian Golf Federation and he is the only golfer in the history of Macedonia,who led our country to the first World Amateur Championship in Turkey,2014. The team finished 46-th in the world,not a bad place for a golfer who came from a country that doesn't have a golf course.
Laze made the first ever driving range in Novaci, Bitola in 2012,but since then,it is closed.Now,he is back in Bitola,where he built the first proper driving range in the foothills of Pelister. He also formed a golf club named ,,Gjavato''.The driving range is now open to the public for free,with a plan to be build a golf course with nine holes in the next two years.
Laze is proud Macedonian, who love his country and the sport of golf.
Finally,we have the sport of golf in Macedonia.
