MontAdria Splashing the Colorado River 🌊✈️

As a prelude to the grand MontAdria 2026, we brought the spirit of seaplane aviation to one of the most iconic waterways in the world — the Colorado River.

In an unforgettable gathering, surrounded by breathtaking desert landscapes and golden reflections on the water, this special “MontAdria Splashing” brought together true aviation passion and friendship.

Flying alongside remarkable professionals and friends — including Michael Neff, Michael Tregaras, Ditra Rene, and others — we shared moments that perfectly capture what MontAdria stands for: freedom, precision, and pure joy of flight.

With aircraft like the Lake Buccaneer and the legendary Republic RC-3 SeaBee, every takeoff and water landing became a scene worth remembering — a fusion of skill, nature, and adventure.

This was more than just a warm-up.

100 godina sportskog i aeroklubskog vazduhoplovstva u Crnoj Gori je jubilej kojem će biti posvećena 6-ta Međunrodna hidroavio regata MONTADRIA 2026

Začeci civilnog vazduhoplovstva na našim prostorima

Tokom 1926. Aero-klub „Naša krila“ je počeo sa ozbiljnim djelovanjem na području današnje Crne Gore. Glavni odbor u Podgorici je obrazovan tokom juna, zatim mjesni odbori u Beranama, Pljevljima, Kolašinu, Danilovgradu, Plavu i na Cetinju.

U maju 1929. Oblasni odbor je premješten iz Podgorice na Cetinje. U tom trenutku, pod njim su djelovali mjesni odbori u: Andrijevici, Baru, Beranama, Vladimiru, Golubovcima, Gusinju, Danilovgradu, Herceg Novom, Kolašinu, Kosijerima, Kotoru, Bobovištu, Nikšiću, Plavu, Podgorici, Tuzima i samom Cetinju. Neki od ovih odbora su do polovine tridesetih ugašeni, ali su zato obrazovani novi na Žabljaku, Rijeci Crnojevića, Krajini, Šarancima i Grudi.
