2 ADVANTAGES OF SHADOW BOXING IMPROVE YOUR BOXING TECHNIQUE While warming up or during your session, shadow boxing is a great way to improve your boxing skills. The shadow allows you to work on the gestures of your shots and improve the fluidity and ease of your sequences. The only rule to make your shadow effective is to: Work slowly. When it comes to speed, it can be worked in the bag or in assault, but during your shadow the best thing is to box slowly or at moderate speed.
