Christine GZ and navigator Pablo Moreno secured second place overall and victory in the T4 category at the Sardegna Rally Raid 2026, competing in a Polaris RZR Pro.

Hello, basically Friday - great start, we passed three cars in front it was super good. And then all of a sudden we had to stop, because the brakes - we had everything stock on the car: brakes, suspension - so we had to stop and basically take out all the tires and the brakes. Because they were warming up, so it was complicated for us because we lost - I checked on the gopro - and we lost like 21 minutes on that and then Saturday we punctured one tire, so we lost four minutes and a half, but at the same time Saturday was a great day because we did the first stage- we won second stage I think also or second i don't know so it was really good, we had a big big advantage. And then on the last day unfortunately we did puncture again and so we had five minutes in front of the of the second guy, but we punctured and we lost those five minutes by fixing the tire and we didn't have any more tires, so we had to go safe because if we puncture one more - we didn't have more tires in the car.
It was a bit sad because, I knew that I was going faster so I could win with a lot of time, but I'm really happy of like the job we did Pablo is amazing. He worked super super hard and like we had zero navigation problems and it was very complicated navigation job in this race and it was super narrow a lot of rocks and it was on top of the mountains with big dropouts on the left side. It was crazy, crazy, crazy. The car barely fit on the stages. So it was really exciting, really cool, really fun.
The team at Polaris Italy were amazing and they helped me so much. Everything we wanted to change and fix they helped, they did. So it was really great to finally find like good energy, nice team, just that I really wish I won both categories and it would just make me really happy (my category and the overall) but I'm sure we will be back soon and I think because of the good result hopefully there's other people that saw it so maybe we can do something for the next races, so thank you so much for everything.
