Meet Raphael.  

Raphael often feels out of place in everyday life, like his energy and goals don’t quite match the people around him. He’s someone who constantly pushes himself through triathlons, long distances, and challenges most people would call “crazy”. He will do all of it alone. But here at Marathon Des Sables, everything shifts.

He’s surrounded by people who understand that mindset, who choose the same kind of challenge, and who carry that same energy. There’s a natural, mutual sense of connection - you support each other, push each other forward, and get through the hard moments together.

Raphael is someone who usually gives a lot to others, but here he can receive just as much. And in that balance of giving and receiving, he feels something he doesn’t often feel in everyday life: He’s not alone.
