As our crew and participants headed further south, the winds continued blowing and the scenery was beautiful as we headed to more remote locations. The Dakhla Downwind Challenge is a tough downwind, covering 500 kms in sometimes very tough conditions, but the rewards are worth it! Being able to see such a beautiful part of Morocco is a gift! Dakhla Spirit today welcomed its participants and local government officials for the Dakhla Downwind Challenge, at today's opening ceremony. The participants were greeted by officials, and the briefing for the event was given by our event organiser, Soufiane Hamaini. The Dakhla Downwind Challenge will continue tomorrow with good winds that have been forecasted.
