Over the past two days, I had the honor of being a guest of the great and renowned football club Qarabağ, the champions of Azerbaijan. I met amazing people, well-known faces, and true legends of the club. We exchanged ideas and experiences, but for me, the greatest privilege was learning firsthand how a club functions—one that continues to grow year after year and achieves outstanding results on the European stage.
A heartfelt thank you to Qarabağ coordinator Aftandil Hajiyev (over 20 caps for the national team and more than 100 matches as head coach of FK Sabail), academy general manager Nail Karimov, and current Next Gen coach Maksim Medvedev (over 500 matches for Qarabağ and more than 80 for the national team) for their time and warm hospitality.
