* ⭐ Bridget Sullivan – National Champion in the 50 m and 100 m Freestyle

🏅 2 Federal Champion titles

Beyond the medals, these championships were highlighted by numerous top-level performances, personal bests, and an incredible team spirit. These achievements are the result of the daily dedication of our swimmers, the commitment of our coaches, and the unwavering support of all the families.

What an extraordinary weekend for the Sharks!

With 90 swimmers competing, our club once again demonstrated its strength, depth, and the outstanding quality of its development programme. From our youngest athletes to the most experienced competitors, every swimmer helped proudly represent the Sharks at the Oberkorn pool.

The 2026 edition will be remembered for some truly exceptional results:

*International Swim Cup *🦈💙

What a fantastic day at the International Swim Cup – Cercle Nautique Pétange, held on 28 June 2026 at Campus Geesseknäppchen, Luxembourg!

Our 104 Luxembourg Sharks swimmers delivered an outstanding performance throughout the competition, earning 2nd place in the overall team rankings.

A competition full of incredible performances:
✨ Many Personal Bests achieved throughout the competition.
🎯 Numerous swimmers achieved the qualifying times for the Luxembourg National Championships (10–12 July 2026).
👏 Great teamwork, determination, and an amazing racing spirit from every swimmer.

Beyond the medals, we are incredibly proud of the commitment, progress, and positive attitude shown by all our athletes. Seeing so many swimmers reach new milestones made this competition even more special—and most importantly, they had fun and enjoyed every moment together!

🏊‍♀️💙 *Demonstration Day 2026* 💙🏊‍♂️

Our Demonstration Day is a special opportunity for families to see the progress their children have made throughout the season.

More than 80 swimmers from Level 3, Level 4, and Poussin C took part in an exciting afternoon of races, showcasing the skills, confidence, and dedication they have developed during the 2025–2026 season.

It was a wonderful day shared with our families, celebrating the achievements of our young swimmers both in and out of the water.

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, Sharks Team. Your support and team spirit are what make the Sharks family so special.

With this event, we proudly conclude the 2025–2026 season. Thank you to all our swimmers, coaches, families, and volunteers for being part of another unforgettable year.

🇱🇺 *National Day 2026 – Fakelzuch*

Last night, Luxembourg Sharks proudly participated in the traditional Fakelzuch (Torchlight Parade), one of the highlights of Luxembourg’s National Day celebrations.

As an association based in the City of Luxembourg, we were honoured to join hundreds of local associations in this special event and to greet His Royal Highness Grand Duke Guillaume.

A particularly memorable moment was the presentation of a gift to the Grand Duke by our young swimmers, who proudly represented our club and our community.

Thank you to all swimmers, families, volunteers and supporters who took part in this wonderful celebration. Your enthusiasm and team spirit made the evening truly special.

We are proud to be part of the vibrant Luxembourg community and look forward to participating again next year.

🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️ *Avenir Clinic #3 – June 21, 2026* 🇱🇺

Today, 19 swimmers and 3 coaches from Luxembourg Sharks participated in the 3rd Avenir Clinic of the 2025–2026 season, organized by the FLNS (Luxembourg Swimming Federation).

A total of 84 swimmers from across Luxembourg were selected for this clinic based on their performances in the first two stages of the Avenirs Series. Our swimmers took part in a session focused on VO₂ Max development and performance training. 💪🔥

🌟 A special highlight of the day was the presence of Julie Meynen, Luxembourg Olympian and international swimmer.

Julie joined the clinic and concluded the day with an inspiring presentation, sharing insights into her athletic journey, high-performance swimming, and the dedication required to compete at the highest level. 🏅✨

A great learning experience and an inspiring day for both our swimmers and coaches.

🏊‍♂️ 🦈 The Sharks Shine at Home During Swim Trophy – Stage 3! 🦈 🏊‍♀️

On Sunday, May 17, the Sharks hosted the 3rd stage of the Swim Trophy. It was an intense day marked by many outstanding performances, a fantastic atmosphere, and exemplary commitment from our swimmers throughout the competition.

In the morning, swimmers from the 2014 to 2017 age groups kicked off the event. Our youngest representatives showed great enthusiasm and determination, delivering excellent races and securing numerous podium finishes.

In the afternoon, the Academy and Youth groups took over with the same positive mindset. Facing strong competition, our swimmers rose to the challenge, achieving excellent performances and proudly representing the club’s colors.

🏆 This collective effort allowed the Sharks to win the overall team ranking of this home stage with an impressive total of 64 medals:

🥉 23 bronze medals

👏 Congratulations to our 70 swimmers for their dedication, fighting spirit, and teamwork, all of which contributed to this fantastic result.

🙏 A special thank you as well to all the volunteers, officials, parents, and supporters who helped make this day such a success. Organizing a competition is always a challenge, and your commitment played a major role in its success.

A wonderful reward for all the hard work accomplished since the beginning of the season. We look forward to the next event and to continuing this positive momentum!
