We are baaaaack!! 😤
After our first preseason game on the road, last weekend, it's time now for our first preseason home game of 2026/2027! For their second preparation game, our guys will be hosting the belgians from BCCA Neufchâteau. If you've been missing basketball, save the date and we will see you on Saturday. 👊🏻🏀🍻

We are extremely excited to announce that Coach Matias Carol Lugones is joining the USH family as our Women’s Head Coach for the upcoming 26/27 season! 🖋

This season marks an exciting new chapter for Heffingen as we are proud to have a Women’s Team competing for the 26/27 season. ⛹🏻‍♀️
And leading this new project will be Coach Matias, who brings more than a decade of experience in Argentine professional basketball, including work in the LNB and Liga Argentina, as well as extensive experience in youth player development and national-team prospects. 🏀

In addition to leading our Women’s Team, Coach Matias will also work with our U16 and U19 Girls teams, helping develop the next generation of players throughout the club. 📈

We couldn’t be more excited to have him on board as we build something special for women’s basketball at Heffingen. 🤝🏻

Coming from the Portuguese basketball scene, Helder brings valuable European experience, versatility, and a high level of competitiveness to our roster. 🌍

An athletic and powerful forward, he is known for his energy, rebounding ability, defensive intensity, and his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. 💪🏾

His experience, work ethic, and team-first mentality make him a perfect addition as we continue to build toward our goals. 🫡

A dynamic point guard with elite athleticism, explosive playmaking ability, and a strong competitive mindset, Najee brings energy, leadership, and creativity to our backcourt. 👀

His ability to push the tempo, create opportunities, and impact the game on both ends of the floor will be a major addition to our team. ⚡️

US Heffingen is pleased to announce that José “Zé” Costa will take over as Head Coach of our Men’s Team for the upcoming season.

Zé is already an integral part of the club through his work within our youth program, where he has contributed significantly to the development of our players over the past years. His commitment, knowledge of the game, and consistent work ethic have made him a respected figure throughout the club.

He will continue to be involved in the youth program alongside his new responsibilities with the Men’s Team, ensuring continuity and alignment across all levels of the club.

We look forward to this next step and to continue our work together.

US Heffingen announces that the club has decided to part ways with Head Coach Alexis Kreps ahead of the 2026/27 season.

This decision was not taken lightly.

We would like to sincerely thank Alexis for his commitment, his professionalism, and his dedication throughout his time with the club. Returning to Heffingen, a place that holds a special meaning in his basketball journey, he embraced the role with passion, responsibility, and full dedication to our colors.

While we did not reach the objectives set for this season, we are grateful for the work he has done and the energy he brought to the team.

From his days as a player to his role as head coach, Alexis has always been closely connected to US Heffingen. That connection and mutual respect remain unchanged.

Thank you, Coach, for everything you have given to the club.

You will always be part of the US Heffingen family, and you will always be welcome here.

We wish you nothing but the very best for the future — in basketball and beyond.

It's always tough to lose these kind of games, but to lose them in the circumstances we lost it's even tougher. 😕

It was not the end we wanted but we are proud of our guys for fighting until the very end and thankful for eveyone that showed up to support them. Thank you all! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

This is it, the last game of the season is here and it couldn't carry any more meaning and importance. Ahead, we have a decisive game 3 against Musel Pikes, in a fight for the last spot in next season's LBBL. ☝🏻
This Saturday, all roads must lead to Heffingen's gym! Come support our guys one last time, and help them secure their place back in Luxembourg's top division! Let's prove that TOGETHER WE RISE! ✊🏻🏀

Despite finishing the game on a good note, the bad first half turned out to be impossible to overcome and our guys were not able to avoid the loss. This means that we will have a decisive game 3 at home, on Saturday. It's not over yet! 💪🏻
