đ Meet Edith â our very first Diosfit member.
I remember the day she walked through that door like it was yesterday. Before there were two locations, before there was a team, there was her.
Sheâs one of a kind.
Always good for a joke, a hug, a real conversation. Walks in with that big smile no matter whatâs going on, and life has handed her plenty.
Sheâs a nurse in youth psychiatry. Married 16 years. Mom of two boys. A former competitive swimmer who once raced at European and World Championship level.
In June 2021, a bike accident broke her hands, wrists, and elbows, and dislocated her jaw. She couldnât open her mouth for four weeks; had to relearn how to chew and eat from scratch.
Last year, she ran her first marathon, completed her first full-distance triathlon, and earned a qualifying spot for the 2026 IRONMAN World Championship.
That smile never left through any of it. Edith was here before any of us, and weâre so lucky she stayed.
This is the first post in a new series âïž the humans behind Diosfit, in their own words. Starting with the one who started it all.
