Visibility in grace:
what do you think, which pic shows me in my full power: 1, 2, or 3?
i tell you my view:
#1: captured by surprise in a serene auspicious moment at the ashram in Kerala, fully in my emotion, 100% my own person, very obvious grace
#2: also 100% me, enjoying Holi, in my fullest playfulness, as seen by lovely friends, embracing my inner child
#3: also 100% me, in perimenopause, tagging along my body, testing ways to navigate through the confusion of hormonal hurricanes, developing humour in exploration and study.
all of the 3, 100% me, not ashamed, not hiding, no fear of judgment.
I would add one more, in anger, because that is an energy I do feel quite often, but no one dared to take a picture of that state so far, just imagine FIRE🌋🔥
as women, how much of the time do we struggle to become visible, to be honest about ALL aspects of our personality. It has been deeply ingrained in us that we’d better do the people pleasing, we became so fearful to be disliked for our arrows and edges. There has been times they used to burn us at the stakes for living our wisdom. and maybe the stakes are gone, but there are still those who spit fire at us, should we become too loud, too straight forward, with our boundaries, our dreams, our anger, our vision. yeeeees we should better be always kind, nice, soft, friendly, little, clean, wear our polish, look good, have a good hair day every day, follow the path well trodden, not be a pioneer, a revolutionary, a nay-sayer, be at our highest potential, in our bodies, at work, at home, with friends, with our partners, our kids, our families. Don’t disturb the harmony, the peace, never point to the many elephants in the room, don’t raise any demands. How did we end up there in the first place? Who decided that women and their children become second class people long time ago? Who decided God had to be a man? Why even today women have to almost ‘act like a man’ to stand out in business, politics, earning respect, and then again, if we do, we get doomed to lack ‘feminine charm’.
Isn’t it much more refreshing to simply be a human in our own power, grace, wickedness, intuitive wavy moon energy? Simply BE? regardless!
