Choosing the right paddleboard can enhance your experience on the water, so here are some tips to guide you:

1. Determine the Type of Paddleboarding: Identify the type of paddling you’ll be doing—recreational, surfing, touring, racing, or yoga. Different activities require different board types.

2. Consider the Board Size:
- Length: Longer boards (12-14 feet) are faster and suitable for long distances, while shorter boards (under 10 feet) are more maneuverable for surfing.
- Width: Wider boards (30-34 inches) offer more stability, ideal for beginners or yoga, whereas narrower boards are better for speed.
- Thickness: Thicker boards provide more buoyancy and support more weight. A 4.75” board is easier to get back on and if you don’t weigh more than 90kg, is really the thickness of board you should be using.

3. Material and Construction:
- Inflatable boards are portable and easy to store, great for traveling.
- they are not always made in the same way. Be careful with brand choice.
- do some research on brands first.
- If it doesn’t pump to above 18psi, think again.
- if in doubt, your probably right. Phone your local Gladiator dealer and ask for advice.

4. Test Before Buying: If possible, test the board on water to see how it feels and if it suits your needs. There are Gladiator Paddleboards all over Europe and the world. SUP centres will be able to help source one you want to try.

5. Seek Expert Advice: Consult with local paddleboard shops or community forums to gather insights and recommendations. Remember some people love a board because it’s the only board they know. People that work in the industry play on lots of boards. They generally know more about different board types and what may suit you doesn’t necessarily suit your friend.

GLADIATOR PRO 11'2...

This 11'2 board has been specifically engineered and designed for the shorter rider (under 5'6) who wants an allround performance board.

This board is 4.7" thick, which is very important to most riders but extremely key to the shorter, lighter rider, as this thickness and board volume allow the board to sit within the waterline creating stability.

This paddle board is great for older kids wanting their own board and with a max weight of 100kg this board is also great for any riders who want to catch a small wave.
