ONE LESSON. Same horse. Same rider. Completely different picture. 🤯

And this shows so clearly that we, as riders, are always part of the problem.

For many riders, that’s something they don’t want to hear.
But the moment you accept it, you also find the solution.

Stop hiding behind:
“My horse just goes there by himself.”
“It’s not a problem because I’m not pulling.”
“That’s just how he is.”

No.

As a rider, it’s your job to guide your horse in a way that allows him to use his body correctly so he can carry you functionally and sustainably, without it coming at the expense of his own body.

It is not your horse’s responsibility to carry you well.
It is your responsibility to teach and guide him how to.

And THIS is why I’m so proud of this rider.

She came to me because her horse was going extremely behind the vertical, and she simply didn’t know how to help him use his body differently.

One lesson. A few changes in the way she guided him. And look at the difference.

Not because we fixed his head position.
Because we changed the way he was using his body. 🙏🏻
