February 16–20 we had the pleasure of hosting 5 London Stars Basketball Club teams here in Kaunas! 🇬🇧🏀

Our guests played a packed schedule against local basketball schools –KM Tornado, KA "Snaiperis", Krepšinio mokykla "Perkūnas", KA Žalgiris and the National Basketball Academy.

Some teams were reminded that English basketball can be pretty powerful too 💪 and in some games our guests got a few valuable lessons themselves. That’s what international competition is all about.

It was great to reconnect with our friends from London, and we truly hope this wasn’t the last time we see each other ♥

From January 2–6, we were happy to welcome 𝐒𝐨̈𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚̈𝐥𝐣𝐞 𝐁𝐁𝐊 from Stockholm to Kaunas 🇱🇹🇸🇪

The 2011–2012 boys’ team, which competes successfully in the Swedish championships, came to Kaunas looking for strong opponents and a real test of their abilities. Kaunas basketball schools gave the Scandinavians a true taste of Lithuanian basketball 💪🏀

As team manager Linda said, even though the boys returned home with a bag full of losses, they also gained something far more valuable – a clear understanding of how much work and growth still lies ahead.

During their stay, Södertälje BBK not only played friendly games but also trained with 𝐒̌𝐚𝐫𝐮̄𝐧𝐚𝐬 𝐙𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐬, last season’s II Men’s League (NKL) vice-champion coach, and 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐣𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐤𝐚𝐬, a KM Tornado youth coach.

It was great to host friends from Sweden once again – see you next time! 🙌💛💙
