NO CORONAVIRUS CASES IN VAL DI SOLE AND TRENTINO
In Val di Sole all of the tourism operators are at work to guarantee that all their Italian and foreign guests will have the best possible vacation during their stay here. Both public and private institutions in collaboration with the regional government of the Autonomous Province of Trento are constantly monitoring the evolution of the Coronavirus outbreak.
There are currently no reported cases of COVID-19 in Trentino, and therefore also in Val di Sole. The situation is constantly being monitored by local health authorities that have adopted specific measures and actions that have guaranteed the possibility to closely monitor current health conditions across the territory and to promptly identify and isolate any possible Coronavirus outbreaks.
There are great snow conditions and the slopes of Val di Sole’s three ski areas are in perfect condition, all lifts are open, there are ideal weather conditions, all ski instructors and rentals are ready to welcome guests, the valley’s accommodation facilities are as always ready to provide high level hospitality, local cuisine is beyond compare and the amount of outdoor leisure events have been increased by each single location. Perfect conditions for all those who want to enjoy a vacation in the mountains. Light snowfalls are expected that will make these already favourable conditions even more magical thanks to the unexpected snowfall that might be on its way. Certain temporary precautions that have been adopted by local authorities like cancelling or postponing events and providing correct guidelines for the general public to follow, have all been made for the sole purpose of protecting the personal wellbeing of both residents and guests.
All of the Val di Sole tourism operators would like to remind everyone that Val di Sole is not in any way located near the areas in the Lombardy and Veneto regions where the outbreak has occurred and that no restrictions have been issued by authorities to enter or exit the Trentino area. Therefore, at the moment, all modes of transport from other states to and from Italy have not been cancelled or blocked. The border crossing with Austria at the Brenner Pass is open, as are all other borders with other countries.
All decisions, taken by authorities in areas that have not been affected by the Coronavirus emergency, are precautions that aim to increase the safety and protection level of all those who live or who are currently staying in these areas. All of the above will allow the many visitors that plan on coming to Val di Sole to fully enjoy their well-deserved holiday in complete tranquillity.
