From 18 till 25th of February, I have been honored to represent Norway as a part of educational team of Erasmus+ training course Intercultural Dialogue 2024, as well as International Forum Two Years of Invincibility in Vilnius.

With a group of 24 participants from Lithuania, Norway, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland, and a hidden Turkish and Ukrainian diaspora among them, we have developed each other's understanding of youthwork, interculturality, integration, migration tendencies, cognitive challenges in integration, digital bubbles, tools, and critical thinking in the current digital reality.

Thank you to the organisers and the Norwegian National Agency for giving us all an opportunity to cooperate and learn from each other.

Found this, think it is at the same time funny, relatable, and educational - which is the perfect mix for learning.

Overall, when a person you care about shares something with you, it is a good practice to ask them, what kind of response they need from you. Is it a solution, or emotional support, or distraction.

Often, when you react in a certain way that differs from the one expected, you think you are helping, but the reaction and the result can be completely opposite - of anger and frustration.

Often a person expressing an emotion, does not need a solution to the situation or a reason why it has happened. That can come later on, when they are ready for that. A much better response in a lot of situations is to mirror this emotion, to show you "feel" this person.
You can mirror happiness with happiness or optimism, surprise with surprise or enthusiasm. Anger about a problem, with an equal amount of empathetic emotion (never mirror anger with anger directed at the person).

And again, it is a good practice to ask. "What kind of help do you need, if any? Solution? Empathy? Physical help?"

You know, looking at the depiction of an accurate angel, I understand this is how a multi-dimensional being would be depicted. Or, you know, existing out of time and space.

The Training Course has ended. It was an interesting experience.
Never I have never had to deliver a training after I fell off a height, a table fell on my leg and I got a wound with a broken cup so that I had to rush to a hospital and get stitches on the leg.
I still led the training until the end, managed a team of junior trainers, created a number of new tools and received a "very satisfied" to "mostly satisfied" in all of the questions.
