At Kennie Agro Initiatives -KAI Incorporated we were lucky on June 5, 2025 to have received for the first time a visit from the Ministry of Agriculture Liberia - MOA Liberia District Officer assigned in Salala District.

We had the opportunity to share with the MOA staff our current involvement especially focusing on the production of lowland rice, palm and Cashew. We also outlined key challenges the farm is faced with.

Since we embarked on this farm development about 5 years ago, there has been no luck for external support or partnership.

The farm largely works with volunerable women and youths as a source of empowerment through our daily labor hire.

We need urgent support to. expand our current capacity while also looking in the direction of value addition.

It has been busy week at Kennie Agro Initiatives -KAI Incorporated farm in Maimue, Salala District, B**g County.

We are not just farming but teaching women farmers best practices in lowland rice production.

Despite no external support yet, we are working with the community especially volunerable women and youths to expand our lowland rice production.

We open to partnership and potential collaboration at this integrated farm currently involved with lowland rice production, oil palm, orange growing including introduction to Cashew. We intend to expand in animal husbandry next year.
