The Lonestar Mobilization Committee on Monday, June 1, 2026, concluded another strategic meeting at the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Headquarters as preparations intensify for a crucial engagement with members of the National Legislature.
The Committee is scheduled to present a comprehensive mobilization plan and budget to the house of Representatives on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, as part of efforts to secure increased government support and investment for Liberia’s national football teams.
Discussions also centered on the upcoming international friendly matches between the LoneStar and Sierra Leone, slated for June 6 and 9, 2026.
The first encounter will be played at the Southern Arena in Bo, while the return leg is scheduled for the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville on June 9, 2026.
The initiative underscores the Committee’s commitment to galvanizing national support and strengthening the foundation for the sustained growth and success of Liberian football.
