The Young People Against Poverty and Crimes is a youthful humanitarian and not-for-profit organization that was founded on the 21st of February A.D. 2011 in the historical park of the University of Liberia, by few like minded young men and women. This organization is in pursuit of reducing the rates of poverty and crimes in societies around the world, especially third world countries. This is gear

ed towards empowering young people who are victimized by these circumstances by restoring unto them the confidence to be productive citizens in the near future. It is a clear indication that poverty breeds crimes in most cases because people tend to find alternate means in meeting some of their basic necessities of life like food, clothing and shelter; and most of these means they explore are not legal; majority are criminal in nature. For instance, they get involved in drug dealing, armed robbery, burglary and a whole lot of dubious activities which negatively impart the society at large. We as Young People Against Poverty and Crimes want to give a new meaning to the lives of our young brothers and sisters out there who have certain potentials in their lives that the world can benefit from tomorrow but these conditions they are faced with are suppressing these potentials. This is the time for us to make real the meaning of brotherly love. Giving lipservice to these conditions our young people are faced with today is detrimental to our future; and posterity will definitely judge us. Despite the infancy of this organization, we put together our meager resources in reaching out to our less fortunate brothers and sisters. We look forward to providing vocational training and scholarship opportunities to them in the near future which will serve as a recipe for self empowerment and an independent and productive lifestyle. It is our ardent hope that our young people are transformed for the better and reintegrated into the society. If you are a well meaning citizen of this globe, overwhelmed with compassion for your brethren and is desirous of making the world a better place for all, we urge you to partner with us and combine your effort with ours so that together we all can move as a formidable force bringing gradual and lasting change to our one world. Together we can achieve this goal of 'Liberating the Future Generation of our world.

When choosing among competing priorities, this new dimension of investing into Communities is remediable and may push impacts on sustaining programs through investing more and more into Community Initiates. Dealing with it later is not an option.
