📌 ISSA NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETS TO PLAN U-15 SCHOOL LEAGUE ⚽🇱🇷
The Inter-School Sports Association (ISSA) National Executive Committee on Monday, February 10, 2026, held a strategic meeting at the ISSA National Headquarters, Sports Commission, Broad Street, to discuss and outline key implementation steps for the successful rollout of the National U-15 School Football League, made possible through the generous grant provided by the Liberia Football Association (LFA) with support from CAF.
This historic initiative marks the first time ISSA is spearheading a nationwide U-15 school league, and the meeting focused on planning around logistics, coordination with county chapters, equipment distribution, competition structure, and administrative processes to ensure a smooth and impactful implementation across the 15 counties.
The meeting was attended by the following National Executives:

• Mr. Johnson Trobleh – Vice President for Technical Affairs
• Ms. Lovette Awode – Vice President for International Affairs

• Mr. Dyric S. Payway – Secretary General
• Mr. Joseph Boakai – Treasurer
• Mr. James Diamond Blamo – Deputy Secretary General
The leadership reaffirmed ISSA’s commitment to transparency, effective coordination, and strong grassroots engagement to ensure the U-15 League becomes a sustainable platform for talent identification, youth development, and character building through sports.
ISSA remains grateful to the LFA and CAF for the confidence reposed in our institution, and we are fully committed to delivering a successful national school football program that will positively impact young learners across Liberia.
