Announcement

The County leadership of the Inter School Sports Association is pleased to inform all High Schools that there is an upcoming training for Sports Directors and coaches both soccer and kickball.

All High Schools are kindly asked to participate in the upcoming ISSA Training. Kindly send your Coaches in both categories and the sports director for the training!!!

In a school that refuses, her coach and sports director will not be allowed to stand on the line without obtaining a certificate from ISSA, LFA, or CAF.

Commencement date for the ISSA Training of Sports Director and Coaches:
The training January 16-17, 2025,

Admissions per school for the training: $2,000.00LD

Venue for Training: Saclepea, Sanniquellie, Karnplay, and Ganta respectively, by ISSA and LFA-qualified coaches and trainers.

Both junior and senior leagues will officially kick off on the 28th of January 2025

Note: All General Secretary for each city is responsible for registering all their schools for the training in consultation with their chairmans.

Note: All schools are responsible for sending both coaches (kickball and football) and Sports Directors for said training.

ISSA is attaching seriousness to the training, as trainers will come from Monrovia to conduct said training and provide insight on ISSA’s activities in the country and county.

We are thrilled that for the first time in the history of ISSA in Nimba County, we hosted a very successful Back to school tournament in Saclepea City, Nimba County.

The tournament which was participated by 12 schools from Saclepea and Bahn started on October 29, 2024 with soccer and kickball games ended on November 7, 2024 with the Saclepea Public High school lifting the soccer trophy with a cash prize.

The mother school of the city Johnny Voker High school won the kickball trophy with a cash prize.

We are in this open manner extending our sincere thanks and Appreciation to all school authorities for allowing their schools and students to participate in this tournament.

We will also extend our apology to anyone who has had some disgruntlement with us during the course of this activity, we will use all the little mistakes along the way to make a better comeback during our next activity which we intend to make it bigger and better.

In all, we congratulate all participating schools. ISSA considers all schools as winners, because you muster the courage to participate.

After taking a weekend break, we are excited to have you inform you that the ISSA Back to School tournament will resume tomorrow at the two venues. Saclepea City at the Johnny Voker High School field and in Sanniquellie at the Tomah Sei Floyd Sr Sports Stadium. We hope we can encourage others to go and watch some spectacular games. Also, you will see some new talents of our amazing students from various High Schools participating in the tournament.

Good evening to all, this is to have you inform that the tournament has taken a weekend break and will resume on Monday, November 4, 2024.

The break is coming in due to one of ISSA's laws not allowing students to play any ISSA games during the weekends. ISSA has always given the chance to students to have themselves prepare during weekends and resume normal academy activities on Monday we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Hope to see you in full on Monday at the two venues to support the school of your choice. Have a wonderful weekend.

It has been a long journey for us to reach here today, the planning process was very tedious, but with the help of God, we are pleased that the back to school tournament officially kicked off today in Sanniquellie and Saclepea Cities.

We remain very grateful to all the schools that open the tournament today and all other schools that graciously accepted to be a part of the tournament.

We have come to extend our appreciation to Minister Murvee Gary and Prophet Dixon Kamara for taking the official kick-off for both soccer and kickball games.

We can assure you all that with our collective effort, ISSA will be better and will make a great impact.

With excitement for the return of our students back to school, we are pleased to announce the schedule of the Inter School Sports Association (ISSA) 2024/2025 back-to-school tournament.

This will be the first of its kind for the Inter-school sports association to host its back-to-school tournament in Saclepea City Nimba County.

Below are the names of the schools selected from each of the cities that will be participating in the county back-to-the-school tournament right after the first marking period test.

The tournament is expected to Kick-off on October 29, 2024, and end on November 2, 2024.
