A candidate should,
1.Be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
2.Not be less than 18 years or more than 22 years of age on the closing date of applications.
3.Be unmarried.
4. Have completed the G.C.E. (A/L) or Cambridge or Edexcel A/L examination in the year 2019/2020 in one sitting and be eligible to apply for university admission.
5.Have obtained a minimum of a Credit pass (C) for English Language at the G.C.E. (O/L) or Cambridge or Edexcel A/L examination.
6.Have obtained a pass mark (marks 30 and above) for the Common General Test.
7.Satisfy the following minimum physical standards
